Respiratory Fit Test
In industrial work areas where workers are exposed to hazardous substances in the air, safety masks, also known as respirators, are essential personal protective equipment (PPE).
They must be fitted properly to the user’s face.
Safety Watch
Safety Watch Confined Space Monitoring refers to the process of continuously monitoring and overseeing work in a confined space to ensure the safety of personnel entering or working in that environment.
Main task is to observe, monitor and assist workers.
Spark Watch
Working with ignition sources near flammable materials is referred to as “hot work.” Welding, soldering, and cutting are examples of hot work. Fires are often the result in areas not intended for welding or cutting. It is important to have fire watch monitors in place when hot work begins .
HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
It is our policy to provide a safe work environment for all by continuously promoting safe work practices, educating, and training our workers, and regularly inspecting our workplace to identify any health and safety hazards and take appropriate action to minimize risks.
It is our goal to foster and maintain a culture of health and safety compliance within our business so that workplace safety becomes an attitude that all our workers carry with them both on and off the job.
This policy applies to all our workers, customers, contractors, suppliers, visitors, and any other people who visit
our premises.
Kurdonk Safety recognizes that the duty to maintain a safe workplace is shared by all workplace parties. Our managers and supervisors are made aware of their responsibilities and required to take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of workers, customers, and anyone else likely to be affected by the operation of our business.
Our managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that our workers are aware of their duties and rights in accordance with all the health and safety policies and procedures that we have in place, including those that are set out in this policy manual.
Our workers are responsible for participating in assigned health and safety training, reporting hazards, injuries, and illnesses, and working in a safe and healthy manner.
Nichole Kadoski of Kurdonk Safety has completed the requirements to obtain a National Health and Safety Administrator ticket as recognized by the CFCSA. NHSA certification is designed to recognize the skills of those who undertake safety functions for their company at an administrative level.
